New Ferraris Super Car

Is anyone having a clue how it will be called,or how it should look(well 99% not) and when it should be presented ???

 

I was recently at the Concours D'Elegance on Long Island where I talked to the owner of the sole Enzo at the meet. I dont know how we got into talking about it but he said when he was invited to Italy to go and test the FXX they were working on the new Ferrari. He said it will have over 900hp and will take anything on the road.

The guy was really cool. Let my younger brother start his Enzo. I believe him considering he owns an Enzo.

 

This is way too early to speculate.

According to him it was a street car. This is just from word of mouth him to me. I like to believe that Ferrari will own the ultimate street car and like to believe what he said.

Plus he let my 6-year old brother start his Enzo and F430. I have vid of him starting the Enzo and the owner revving it. If you would like ofcourse.

 

the countdown has started, just cant wait to see all the next gen cars, of both ferrari and lambo...gonna be some good stuff im betting........

I bet there will be a bunch of red ones with black interior.

 

I think there will be a lot speculations regarding the new Ferrari supercar until ferrari finally makes the official statement about it so prepare to hear a lot of rumours.

yeah i though about rumors too,ofcourse there arent real news about it,mostly rumors,but they are fun anyway.i cant wait to see a new ferrari supercar,it would be cool if its look was atleast bit similar to older supercar like f40.i mean i like the enzo,but i dont see anything much ''ferrari'' in its design.i hope new ferrari supercar will look atleast a bit like its roots.

 

This guy must be well known and respected by Ferrari to be invited to test the FXX. Or did quite a few recieve this invite?

I do believe you have to be pretty respected to be invited. I know he has a F430 and the SuperAmerica that was unveiled at Concours D'Elegance.

I personally love the look of the Enzo. Hopefully if what he said was true it will be more radical looking then the Enzo is and faster then anything else out there.

 

If Ferrari get that 900hp engine to run without problems, it is impressive! I have no doubt in my mind they will pull it

 

Prototype designed by Giugiaro , will be launched at nearest Tokyo Motor Show. But I think it isn't linked with brand new Ferrari supercar. Just new experience, challenge , that's all.

Also anyone catch the August 2005 motor trend magazine? In there they have a pic of the "Super Enzo". From the pic it doesnt look like the FXX as the rear spoilers are not present and exhuast is much different. Though it cannot be seen it says the nose will have a NACA duct which the FXX does have. Any ideas or thoughts? Maybe MT had a slight heads up on the FXX. Im not to sure when the FXX was released so it could be the predecessor or the FXX as this issue is 2 months old.

 

Yea, I was there when you guys were talking about that. He is an awesome guy. Too bad he declined the FXX. The 575 SuperAmerica, F50, and F430 Spider were also his.

 

I heard they were possibly calling a new Ferrari "California". Would make sense i suppose after "SuperAmerica".
Would love to see a new California keeping some old lines with a new refresh

I understand that the next one will be a new hairdressers car.

 

I believe he only had the F430 and SuperAmerica not that F50, but who cares. He said he is getting the new Zonda once it is street legal in the US. Not to mention his 18 other cars besides the 3 Ferraris.

Anything that anyone would like to see in the Enzo's predecessor? I know it will obviously be faster but cant really think of anything else, which is why Ferrari is so amazing. They keep coming out with things no one else would have .

 

things that no one else would have? Like what? I find it odd you can make that statement yet mention the Zonda in the same post. Zonda thus far is a company who dares go where others won't.

 

The technology in the Enzo to get it perfect for one and the new SuperAmerica are both great innovations.

Am I not allowed to put those two names in the same post? I didnt say that Pagani couldnt be innovative, nor wasnt.

Inform me on what Pagani did that others dared not?


Back to my question any ideas on what they will think of next?

 

offering bare carbon fibre as a paint option would be one off the top of my head, but i think both ferrari and zonda are innovative, thats what makes them such unique cars

 

You are correct. However, the owner of the F50 also has an Enzo.
