    UT schedule just released; there is a home game scheduled for the same weekend as the race
    (translation 100,000 football fans); the FIA said they might move the race date; with Korea in potential jeopardy any thoughts on the final races and potential dates for Austin?
    Just renewed my hotel; may block another weekend off.

    Seems easier to move a football game than an F1 GP.

    Better book early though :)

    The big 12 has already adjusted two dates for UT due to the music festival now expanding to two weekends; they have indicated they are not going to move another game for UT.

    So, they originally had back-to-back home games scheduled? What a cluster ****!

    No need to reschedule, just play it away instead.

    Actually I was wrong; they moved one game; the second one that falls on the expanded weekend for the music fest.
    Either way, just stay aware and book early

    They are in entirely TWO different parts of Austin....I say "let it roll".

    Only the Out of Town team will need rooms (50K max) and there's still plenty left for the 120,000 of "our" friends.

    My personal observation is that the F1 party did not reach south of the River, really...and not many of the Old Austin clubs and eating establishments were used....

    Bring it on...

    You guys worry too much, go to Academy for a tent and we'll have a campground in my yard!!!
