What are you talking about? I applaud this guy for using it as much as possible- I know a few guys on this site who have bike racks on their F-cars.. Use it if you have it; if it breaks, fix it.

From prior discussions here on Fchat, the gentleman who owns that F40 drives it regularly and participates in hillclimbs and other events. Sure beats having it sit in a museum or garage and not being used.

There's a 550 with a bike rack too

This is the same car that was at concorso that has the kicking horse on the back. I've heard he uses it a lot, i say good for him

 

That F40 belongs to my friend Amir. The car is highly modified. It holds the record at the Virginia City Hill Climb. He also drives the car on the street. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet. More owners should be like him.

Not everyone with an F-car drives them only on the weekend. In my opinion, those guys don't deserve the car. They are meant to be driven. I applaud this guy for having the gaul to cary a bike on his car.

 

The only negative I can think of for putting a bike rack on an F40 is people thiking it is a replica - who in their right mind would put a bike rack on a £200k car, right?

man when it comes down to it... an F40 is a car. its not God... it was made to be drivin not sit in a showroom and rot for ever.
if you would put a bike rack on a honda why wouldnt you put a bike rack on an ferrari?
theyre both cars. they both have wheels that turn and get you from a to b.
if i had the money to buy a ferrari i would get it dirty and drive it every day.
