Thanks Tarek- I agree of course- I have to admit I did not spec this car out. Someone else did and I think he did an amazing job of picking the right options and skipping the ones I find less important. I just wish it had the NAV radio, which my dealer just swapped for me.

    best regards,
    Jerry

It looks great. I really like the blue top too - it looks better than what I would have imagined.

Congratulations -- stunning car. The TDF color just pops! I love the CIDZ option on the 6sp -- the CF gear lever (as well as the steering wheel) just feel so nice to the touch (bonus on 90+deg days when the car is parked, you don't get the H-pattern seared into your skin on the first shift).
I don't normally like non-black upper-dash or steering wheel, but on this car it seems to go quite nice.

Absolutely beautiful car, and fabulous color combo.

Just think that in a week it will have a cup holder, too!

    Great going.

    Thanks for sharing, Jerry.

That TdF is stunning. One of the very few manual trannys I've seen on the 430!

Congrats on a great looking car!!
And a manual to boot.. when you see one you realize how many out there are F1s
The carbon gearshift looks GREAT! The red equator-stripe is a great looking detail.

Thanks for the positive feedback. :)

    Greg,
What?! A cupholder? Thats for posers and punters! lol.

One thing I really like is the red line on the top center of the steering wheel. I always wondered what this is for and when I first drove the car I think I figured it out: its to let you know, out of the corner of your eye, how straight ahead the steering is, which of course tells you how much throttle you can give it. The more off center you are, the less power you can put down. While this is something anyone driving this car should be able to feel, having this little red line moving around at the edge of your vision does give a small advantage I think. Or it could just look cool!

Btw- I like driving this car so much that getting out feels tragic.

    best regards,
    Jerry

    looks gorgeous.

I luv the interior, the richness of the tan :D

Maybe it's a bit much but i would of done the dash in tan as well or even biscuit colour brown like the merc's

    :D swap for a mini cooper 2003

Another thing, the reason i luv ferrari especially the new ones are the steering wheel.
Sounds really dumb but when spending 150,000 gbp i want everything other than speed and the looks ont he outside of the car to look 150,000
For isntance the steering wheel in the lambo gallardo and aston amrtin db9 look sum what budget, bland, plain but the 430 actually reminds me of a f1 steering wheel with obviosuly the pads but also the start button and settings of traction. it looks expensive

You are right- WWOC. Not looking to debate as every dealer has people who think they are great or criminals but count me in the former category. They have treated me very well. Just put over 1000 miles on her in a month and they did a service and did a great job.

I also agree on the steering wheel comment, but the Aston one is really nice in person.

I really enjoy driving the F430 F1 but I am very glad I got this in stick shift. The fact that Ferrari might stop making stick shift all together in the next model has me thinking this car is a keeper for ever for me.

In terms of the challenge grill, I think it so depends on color and I also think its a little better fit for the coupe. I like how the little vent opening on the back echos that on the Enzo... you still gotta dream :)

    best regards,
    Jerry
