Greetings Tifosi. Previous owner must've gave the antenna a good whack and it has not been able to fully retract. Finally snapped at the third joint. Antenna motor and cable are fine, just need to get some info on a replacement stack. Any suggestions? Cheers-Colin Firth - Ontario Canada
Hi Colin, Saw your PM. A previous owner of my car replaced the stock antenna with a replacement from radio shack. It's long, so it just barely fits - to get at the K-Jet ECU, you'd probably have to remove the antenna as it blocks the plate. Thanks Bret. Am hoping that another member may have simply replaced the stack and not the whole unit as it still extends and retracts the remaining part of the antenna stack. Would rather not replace the original antenna motor if avoidable and was hoping someone may have a spare kicking around or a cheap and easy suggestion. Colin Firth
Took a pic this morning and the antenna is the same as Bret showed. Will see what the deal is through Radio Shack and see if it is still available. Cheers-Colin Firth
