Looks very nice. Would it have been possible to make it shallower for a more profile look, I know they are modeling the OEM piece?

I'm sure it could be more shallow. Anything is possible. But there is a black block in between the console and the boot that fits perfectly snug against the boot. The OEM block would have to be cut in order for the boot to be cut more shallow. I didn't want to mess with the OEM setup.

Got it, I wondered why the stock was so tall looking.

Thanks for sharing your pictures, Gianni. I agree that the stock shift gate location seems to be a little high, but the console itself is pretty shallow compared to the 360, and the riser doesn't look as tall in person as it does in pictures. I would not advocate changing the height of the shift gate. If the internal block was shortened and the boot or riser made shallower, the gear lever would be able to travel farther and this might put undue stress on the transmission linkage.

Great Job Valence! Now that my spider is going into storage, I need a reason to hang with it. Looks like the right look for me.

Thanks. No, I didn't want to mess with it. I had a painter do it.

...I like the stock shift boot a bit better; but I really like your garage; but you better never be in a position where you dont have a ferrari in it!

The stock riser looks fine if you get the aluminum trim, especially with a light colored interior. It looks totally out of place with the carbon package, especially with a dark colored interior like this one. Hence the carbon replacement.

No it doesn't look out of place, you make the carbon piece and some will buy it as there is a market for it.

I like the carbon fiber much better than stock. It matches the rest of the carbon fiber in the car where as the stock matches nothing. Maybe the picture doesn't do it justice. But everybody is different with different tastes and thats what makes the world go around. Some will like it and some will not.
