I recently had a ppi done by f40 and being as far across the country as I could be, I wanted to let other fchatters know about these guys. Wayne and Peter were super helpful, very knowledgeable and sent me all the details and pics that I requested. When I went to actually see the car, it was still at their shop due to bad weather and I was blown away by the experience. I expected a nice little exotic car niche garage. Instead, Wayne has a full restoration shop, a body shop, a mechanical shop and a sales room. They had all kinds of old ferraris, mercedes and jags being restored. If you are ever in Hartford Conn area, and love old ferrari's, their shop is worth a visit.

WOW, great pics and cool place. What are you getting a PPI done on if you don't mind me asking.

You can't post a TEASER thread like this without dropping some info!!

<insert, "This thread is worthless without pics" here>

They have an open house every year, I attended it last year and it's a great way to see their operation.

Nice pictures - thanks. Also congrats on the "other thread".

I'm digging the blue 355 spider in the background of that last pic.

    Cheers

Hey guys, it's nice to hear you had a good experience there, I'm 16 and work there part time on the weekends and during school vacations. Both Wayne and Peter are good guys and run a great shop. Just so you all know the open house this year will be on Saturday April 9th. By the way which car did you have the PPI done on, and if you bought it i'll be sure to clean it extra well before it's shipped out to you. :)

Is this Peter from Forza in Conn? I have spoke with him and bought some parts from him in the past. Stand up guy. I have never seen pics of his shop. Looks cool.

Back when I was looking to purchase I stopped by F40. I had obviously interupted Wayne while he was in the middle of some body work, and he ended up spending more than an hour talking to me about the purchase process for a Ferrari. Even though I was looking for a 328 (F40 had no 328s for sale, nor was Wayne aware of any that were for sale in the area), he chose to put off his work and talk to me about the cars in his show room and how I could best go about finding the car I was looking for even if it didn't involve F40 selling me a car. Its hard to say enough about someone who will go out of their way to help you when there was nothing in it for them. I would whole-heartedly recommend F40 and Wayne if they have the car that you are looking to purchase.

Peter is in Gaylordsville, F40 is in Portland.
