    Just got back from Maranello!

    Few things I'd like to share!

    - asked about 430CS ...answer is yes
    - saw a pretty strange Enzo..some say customer car..others an F1 engine in an Enzo
    - Saw Ferrari "testing" a BMW M6. They blacked out German number plates and had test plates on it instead
    - Saw Luca di Montezemolo in the New Engineering building!
    - The new factory tour I got was great! Too bad no pictures!

    On the tour we saw
    - Production line for V8s & V12s
    - upholsery dept
    - Engine Assembly building
    - Engine part fabrication building (nouvo engineering) and it's mini museum
    - Painting facility in action (from outside)
    - Research building 2nd floor with waterfalls and "red room" from a distance

    All together tour was over 2 hours long and the best since my first in 1989

    This Enzo looks to be a test mule for a new engine. Wonder what they are working with here...

    Great pictures. With my schedule it will be a couple of years before my visit. Believe the 2 story, light cream colored long buildings are part of the original factory.

    Great pictures. Great job.

    I don't think you can look at something like this without getting that nostalgic feeling.

    I will be in Italy in July, and I hope to get by the factory.

    Just curious, where did you stay in Maranello? I'm going to Maranello/Modena/Bologna right after christmas, so no tour for me! :(:(
