Just returned from participating in the course last week, before the grand prix, and have nothing but positive feedback about the program. Yes, it is expensive, but in my opinion worth every penny. The instructors are top notch, as are accommodations, meals, and the condition of the Tremblant track and facility.

The F430s (I counted at least 13 of them!) are immaculate and performed flawlessly over the 2 days. All are equipped with ceramic brakes.

The curriculum is well thought out, and executed flawlessly down to the minute. By the end of the second day, you are lapping Tremblant at high speed, using virtually all of the F430's outstanding capabilities. There is no better way to enjoy these cars.

If you have been thinking about it, I highly recommend signing up (although I believe this season is almost completely sold out).

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Ferrari supplies all of the cars; all brand new F430s in this case. And yes, they are really lined up like that when you arrive in pit lane each morning :) :)

We did it last year then the paddock for the race.. We started the first day with only half track then where allowed to run the full course.. We were only using the mani to sport and never to race.. They also put a chicane on the back straight away because we were hitting to high of speeds down it.. I was following Ryan Hunter Ray and we both took out the cones there.. Is the driving course worth it, if you never have track driven your car yes otherwise no.. Just as you get used to the car you are pitting and moving to sit or ride shot gun.. The instructors did kick ass though, they would push as hard as you could, we push them they would fly, Some crazy times but we all made it without killing one car.. all in all a cool exp but not a great drive..

(my camera cowers insecurely in the corner) :)

Were you just taking pix, or did you drive as well?

I might do the intermediate next year, but am interested in hearing more about it, first.

You will enjoy the FDE when you go. Quality instructors with tones of driving skill...Particularly the Drift King -- a driver named JF. he can be seen getting out of the car at the end of this clip...
