There is a set of 328 fog lights on EBAY. They say the lens is cast polymer with original Carello markings They state the rock chips will not crack it. I don't know how to put the link into my post but I just went to Ebay and searched Ferrari 328 and then sorted it by earliest listing. The buy it now price is $647 and they have a 100% feedback. Sounds and looks like a good idea. I have ordered the 40 mil film from Lamin-x for mine but nice to know there is an alternative if something happens to them.

The price is fair, but the issue is the technique to replace them. The old lens must be broken out or drilled out, which means sacrificing it. Many have tried, but the easy way is not out there yet. Worth it if your old lens is completely shattered out, because that is the starting point to replace them.

They're the same ones I have. I can't tell the difference between them and OEM. They're made by Squadra Nuvolari (sp?).

Did you install them? Any hints?

No. I needed the entire light assemblies, including the housings, so they put them together for me. The housings are apparently in very short supply as no one is reproducing them yet.

No problem. You should give Tony at Squadra Nuvolari a call.

You can get the glass lens out without breaking. I did it on my first try. I made a post 2 weeks ago how to remove. I installed the polymer lens in place of my rock pitted glass ones. Takes a hour of patience and sharp x-acto knives. They just held in with a Bead of adhesive caulk.

Great write up and directions. Gives me the optimism to give it a try. Thank you.
