Hi guys, I have been lazy to get these pics up so people can see the Girodisc 308 system on a car. Thanks to waladog for giving the system a shot. The kit is a 310 x 25 mm front rotor with a Wilwood squeeze forged aluminum 4pot caliper. The rear uses a 2pc replacement rotor with pads that balance the rear to the front braking torque. The front caliper pistons were chosen to maintain the pedal feel and stroke of the OE system. The system fits inside the 16" 308 wheel, and of course, with larger wheels. The kit feels and performs fantastic. No modifications are needed, so the kit car can go back to OE spec without issue. If you are going to use your car for track days or want to upgrade your braking performance without breaking your bank, have a look at this. Notice the pic of the braided line running through the OE bracket with a rubber grommet. No flopping brake lines to contact moving components. For more info, go to www.************ and check it out. Hi Rick, the 328... We are going to see how it goes with the 308 systems first. If 328 demand comes up, we will go forward with it. The 328 system is different from the 308, and there is also a late 328 with ABS as well that changes again. Rally up fellow 328 owners who are serious about this and we can go forward. Thanks -Eric
i took some pics and noticed that the mondial 8, (at least mine) is different from the 308. my mondial has nearly matching brakes to my e46 bmw. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice job, Eric! I love the rear rotors I got from you, and if I hadn't already gotten the front Brembos, I'd be using your kit on the fronts too. Your advice on bias balancing with pad choices had been invaluable. And of course Girodisc is my source for all my future pad purchases. www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39712 Mike
So far I love my brakes now. Here's my car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi 16 valves- The price of the complete kit= $2800.00 2 front floating 2pc rotors 2 rear floating 2pc rotors 2 front brackets and caliper bolts 2 front forged aluminum 4 piston calipers front pads, Wilwood E type front ss braided over teflon brake lines rear pads, Ferodo DS2500 bottle of Motul or Brembo brake fluid As for the Dino or GT4, I am not 100% sure, but I think the kit will bolt to the GT4 with 16" wheels. I really dont know about the Dino. Hope it helps. -Eric
Oh yeah, Also, we can paint the caliper just about any color, as well we can have custom logos cut and placed on the caliper if you dont want it to read Girodisc or Wilwood......It can have a prancing horse or a Ferrari logo if you like. We can only do that on special request as Ferrari gets a bit uppity if we offer it as standard. Bells can also be anodized in basic colors (anodize is NOT able to paint match). Anyway, you can customize the visuals of the parts with our system to make it as low key or stand-out as you like. There is a cost involved with custom work of course, so let us know what you are thinking and we will work with you. -Eric
