I use Grundy. They have served me well over many years, many miles, all over the world.

I have Hagerty. The reps were really helpful & pleasant mailing everything officially & on time. In my book, service is everything. I have 4 other sports cars w/ Allstate who recommended them. So far, so good.

I, too, have Grundy, but only for the last few months, so all I can say is that they are straightforward and easy to deal with. I did notice that if your car is 25 years old, the premiums are half that of a newer car. Mine is an '87, so I'm paying the higher figure, which is still a few bucks cheaper than if I'd stayed with USAA, and for better coverage.

    Cheers, Mark

If you are planning to do ANY type of track events, "drivers Ed", or any timed events such as slaloms, read your policy carefully. The insurance policies, especially the collector policies, are clamping down. Know what is covered and what's not. Read the fine print.

Grundy...recently had a claim close to $10,000.00. No problems, paid right away. We'll see if they renew me next year.

They renewed me after having a claim.

Grundy wouldn't insure me because I had one speeding ticket on my record at the time.

But really- a search would offer many threads on this topic for your reading pleasure.

So far, I'm leaning toward Hagerty because they have the road service program. $85/yr covers all of my cars. They have to be better than AAA.

I had Hagerty and they were excellent. I had one claim for $1800 which they paid within a week (I was backed into). Unfortunately I am no longer with them; when I changed my home/umbrella and other cars to go with Farmers, they offered a deal similar to Hagerty but less restrictions. Specifically I can now use the car "for occasional use for any purpose". Except racing that is!

So I can drive to work every now and then if I want, and the premium is only $60 more than I was paying Hagerty.
