What? You don't like the mouse? The driver's goes from right to left. In theory you can leave it buckled and it is automatic. There is also a fixed attach point for when the auto fails. I will say that if there is one draw back to the t's interior it is the spider web of seat belts everywhere.

Once you get used to them there aren't too bad really. I thought they were a pain in the ass for the first week or so, but now its just like any other car just one more step in starting an F car. They do look like crap though. If you put the back seats down its better.

    agree:
has anyone had problems with the auto-retract feature?

if so, I have an extra driver side motor and channel and in need [NOW..yuck] or the other side..

The auto retract is inop on my driver's side. I haven't had a chance to investigate the problem. What do you want for the motor/channel?

send me a msg, I was only going to use it to understand the other side's problem...that is see if it can be repaired, WHICH I believe it can.

    Speaking of seat belts...
does anyone know of an acceptable replacement for the rear seat belts on the mondial t? Perhaps something less LARGE and BOXY.
    Thanks

This T seat belt thing has always been one of those 'funny' events that when the wife is in the sometimes work, when I'm in mine sometimes work. etc. Never a constant thing and just waiting for them to either work or not. When I bought the car from FofSF Brad stated "don't use those things..."

whatever, I/we did and they are un-reliable at best.

well, prowling about the 348 books
    http://ferrari.stevejenkins.com/books/348spider_seatbelt.pdf
noticed that the 348 has a similar?same? setup. If so, they certainly explaint the fault and fix better than the T manual...but, mine is older.

Have 348 people suffered this same problem?

May I respectfully suggest that you disconnect the front belts prior to opening the doors so that the mouse can run without the added strain of an attached belt. I've seen them struggle some when the belt is hooked up, but run much more easily when free.

    Cheers, Hank

not sure about your setup compared to mine, but I get a fault seatbelt light when not hooked up to 'mouse', even if attadched to the ridgid holder.
