Does anyone have any information on some of the rebodied 3500 GT coupe's or any interesting pictures of other rebodied Massers. I am particularly interested in the Moretti rebodied car which i think is in Cali somewhere.

    Yep, I have!

    You mean s/n 101.1856.
The car was delivered first as standart 3500 GT Touring to Kopenhagen/Sweden. In the late 60ies the car suffered a severe accident and as a result the one-off Moretti coachwork was fitted. In the mid-80ies the car was with a collector in Germany before it showed up in Texas and was auctioned in 2003 by RM in Pebble Beach. Current location is in CA. Unknown owner!

    Ciao!

    The magazine is "L'AUTOMOBILE"... I didn't keep it but I think it's from 1966.

Dont you know if it is Kopenhagen or somewhere in Sweden? If the car came to Sweden its a part of the swedish Maserati history.

The car was owned by Svend Soborg who was -to my knowledge- from Kopenhagen.

OK, but we don`t know WHO had it before and AFTER Soborg. Also the last German owner is unknown to me who sold it to the US.

    Ciao!

I strongly believe that the car originally was NOT painted in this bright red colour! It seems to be in a darker colour on the ol`photos from that mags!

Thanks Walter It is Kopenhagen the capital of Denmark. You could take away Sweden in this cars history.
