    Scuderia Rampage Road Trip!!!

    alllrght fellas we need to get serious.

    MSeeliger has arranged for a block of rooms at the silver legacy. So we need a headcount. We are also planning for a cocktail and dinner at Roxy's. This is going to be a blast!


    The schedule is to meet at Andretti's winery at two o'clock on thursday and leave by three. We'll take the backroads to Sac, including some beautiful scenery around lake Berryessa. This should put us past Sac before all of the major traffic. We'll plan for a fuel stop after Sac to gather up and meet up with the stockton and Sac guys.

    If you're around please show up to Andrettis as i'm trying to have Mario send us off, and I hope that the pic will get us into Forza who has agreed to accept a submission.

    Once in reno we will be well taken care of, and it will be a fast drive to Vegas. For those planning on driving through Reno, NV on Thursday April, 21, 2005 for the Scuderia Rampage we have arranged hotel rooms, secured parking, a cocktail reception and dinner at the Silver Legacy Hotel.

    20 rooms have been blocked out for the group at the Silver Legacy.

    12:30pm Arrive in Tonopah (fuel and lunch)
    1:30pm Depart Tonopah
    4:45pm Arrive in Las Vegas (let the Rampage begin!!)

    I'll be coming with you all! Will stay with one of two brothers however in Reno then hook up in a.m. to leave. Will probably still have dinner. Anyone in SJ area driving straight to Sac or is everyone still going to Andretti's in the Bay area then on to Reno?

    It's count down time to the BIG EVENT and road trip!!! I now have 10 people confirmed for our dinner Thursday night at Roxy's. Many people have posted on FC that they will be joining us for the trip down to Vegas from Reno.

    Just a minor (and hopefully unnecessary) heads-up:

    Obviously, the article applies to THIS weekend, not later in April, but at this point I don't know what the situation will be then. The "Rainbow Curve" area mentioned in the article is the site of some major, and seemingly never-ending construction. It is just as you start to enter Las Vegas proper, and is about 10 miles N/W of the Paris.

    These shutdowns have been frequent and unpredictable, both in timing and scope. Therefore, if any of you are using AAA to help with your route, I suggest you contact them just before you leave to get the latest scoop. I will try to post anything I learn as the dates approach.

    I am not trying to put a "wet blanket" on your drive in any way. I just want to help you avoid any inconvenience at the end of your trip. We are all looking forward to welcoming you to Vegas!

    Diane and I are going to Tahoe on Wednesday, and will miss the Andretti Winery. WE'll meet you guys for dinner in Reno on Thursday for the drive down.     Vincent, we (Judy and I)are meeting at Andrettis, staying in Reno and going to dinner with the group.
    Really looking forward to the drive, meeting some fchatters and seeing, hearing and enjoying lots of ferrari's.
