Hello again Some of you may remember a few weeks back about a certain indie ferrari dealer in NW London who wasnt being very helpful with warranty issues. It appears when i purchased 360m from him the diff was gone so he replaced with brand new one from Maranellos- so far so good What he or sorry his mechanics neglected to do was preload the diff before putting diff back in car and neglected to put in correct gearbox oil This obviously had an effect on diff and within a few weeks clunking noise returned while reversing and sometimes going forward. After trying to discuss with owner of garage (RL) and posting on ferrari chat I still didnt get any further, so I decided to have repaired myself at Verdi's He removed gearbox, removed diff and found that the diff plates were burnt, suggesting either wrong preload or wasnt preloaded and wrong gearbox oil. I tried to tell RL many a time this was the problem but he didnt want to hear because i am a friend of Verdi's. And I think those two have had many problems in the past. He fails to realise I dont give a **** about their pathetic quarrels, i just wanted my car fixed and he forgets i bought the car from him in the first place if i were concerned about their feud then obviously i wouldnt have purchased car from RL in first instance. Anyway .. I think RL needs to check himself or he will be out of business or worst.
Suggest you consider the small claims court. If you're confident you can prove the issue was down to faulty workmanship. R
