The bad press for this outfit has been building for some while - fair play to you for taking the trouble to produce the website. It looks as though you may have got away lightly.
The section on company directorships suprised me - presumbaly his influence on the well respected independent is neglible, I have only ever heard good reports on them. The previous owner of my car used them extensively and their work is beyond question.

    QUOTE FROM WEBSITE

Richard Lukins is the man you see running Rosso Corsa. He is on the director's list of some 19+ companies:
DOWN ROAD SERVICES LIMITED, SNIKUL WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS LIMITED, TEAM STRIPEY MOTORSPORT LTD, SNIKUL CONSULTING LIMITED, ILLUSIONS PLUS LIMITED, RKP RACING LIMITED, BLAKTIGER LIMITED, VERDI PERFORMANCE SALES LIMITED, VERDI PERFORMANCE CARS LIMITED, ROSSO CORSA SALES LIMITED, INTUITIVE SERVICES LIMITED, PRESTIGE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP LIMITED, ROSSO CORSA LIMITED, ROSSO CORSA COACHWORKS LIMITED, VERDI PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP LIMITED, TYERS GATEWAY (MANAGEMENT) LIMITED

As I understand it Richard Lukins used to be involved with Verdi's but then went off on his own with Rosso Corsa. He no longer has any involvement with Verdi's and I am told you will not get too many good words about him from Karl Verdi. I have never myself used either Rosso Corsa or Verdi, but I would say that, whilst pretty much everything I have ever heard about Rosso Corsa has been bad, pretty much everything I have ever heard about Verdi has been good.

Pretty dodgy ripping Ferrari owners off! I know someone who sells armour plated Merc's and one of his best customers is the Russian mafia...

    Jaz,

Does Karl not have legal recourse to get the Verdi domains back?

I've removed the link for the time being,

If Parham wants to email me or one of the other mods with some concrete facts about the alleged wrong doings and fills in his/her profile I'll put it back up. I do sympathise if indeed the allegations are true, having been a victim of a so called specialist a few years ago I understand the frustration of knowing that the miscreant is out there ripping off other people, however Ferrari Chat has got to be seen to be impartial, I’m sure if Parham (once the profile is filled in) wants to post a legally factual account of his grievance we can all then decide what happened (it will also give RC a chance to respond to the allegations)

Just to Clarify the Verdi referred to is currently absolutely nothing to do with Karl Verdi or his company (although aparantly he was some time ago), Karl is and I'm sure will continue to be for a long time, one of the UKs most respected Ferrari Specialists

Thats not entirely true, Mr Lukins was (and may well still be named and listed as) a Director of the various Verdi Companies that were and are still operated by Karl Verdi. The reality is that they are no longer working in business together as Mr Lukins left and setup Rosso corsa amongst ohers it seems

    Hi
Just to clarify, Karl Verdi has nothing to do with Richard Lukins and Rosso Corsa. Those who we have spoken to speak highly of him and on the ocassions that I have personally spoken with him, he seems like a nice down to earth chap.

May I ask you please to contact either us or FOC if you have any experiences (good or bad) with Richard Lukins or Rosso Corsa.

    Cheers

    Parham

    tonyH hi
One of the "gentlemen" that was asked to retrieve our monies from Richard Lukins (4 of us that I know of and have personally spoken to) is angry about a lot of things he has come across and spoke to FOC (not London one). He relayed this to me and I am merely relaying it back. I am not familiar with how the FOC operates so I won't comment. I suspect that the FOC would be interested in something like this?

    Regards

    Parham

I've read a lot of bad press about RL and Rosso Corsa and I am reliably informed that he's applying for a Ferarri Maranello franchise. If successful Rosso Corsa will be an official Ferrari dealership. I used to advise Ferrari Maranello and have connections with some influential Italian business-men. One thing I will say is this, if the bad press about RL and his associated companies is true then Ferrari Maranello should be warned of the risk of bringing the Ferrari name into disrepute if RL is granted a franchise. While I would be happy to use my connections, I must be satisfied that I have enough reliable evidence to support a recommendation to Maranello not to grant RL and any company he is associated with a franchise. Therefore I welcome any posts you may have with supporting evidence or please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
