430 Racing Seats, anyone?

Are the 430 sport seats electric? Are the Harmony seats? Are the 599 sport seats?

 

The factory f430 sport seats I have been in are not electric. There was a lever to go forward and back and a dial on one of the sides to adjust the rake. Best of luck with your search. The sports seats on the f430 are brilliant and I find them to be quite comfortable.

 

The 360 sport seats lacked a quick release to fold the seat forward to put things onto the area behind them. Are the 430 sport seats the same way? I find that I miss the ability to get behind the seats easily (turning the rack adjustment knob to do this is tedious).

The sport seats definitely will not be electric. The main reason they are so much lighter is they don't have a heavy electric motor.

 

the sport seats are all manual and it adjust exactly the same way as the 360's. The 599 sport seats are electric.

 

I am looking for ferrari race seats just like this for my 430.
Same color interior except mine has black stiching. The Harmony seats dont look stiched well enough to me.
I dont like the Datona's. They look great but I would prefer
the race seats.

 

Or a 360?

Our sport seat has a quick release to tilt forward.

 

Non electric.

 

The holy grail would be a seat that meets three requirements:

1. Comfortable
2. Electric
3. Harness compatible

As far as I can tell, the 599 seats are the only ones that meet this criteria.

The ones in the picture are stiched in the 360 style. Can you do them in the 430 style?

Are there any in CA that I can sit in? I am a very tall guy so most seats aren't comfortable. Most seats come forward just under the head rest, just behind my sholder blades. This pushes me forward so I end up hunched over and my back hurts. I can say that the seats in the Maserati Gransport are great for comfort.

Our seat is 33lbs, mounting hardware and brackets are another 7 lbs. A factory seat with brackets is 80-90 lbs.

 

Thanks. I wish I had done more research on this before I chose the factory sport seats.

Factory Carbon fiber sport seats from Maranello series, in leather, with stracks, weigh just 28 pounds!

 

I believe the factory Daytona seat with electric option is approx. 60 lb. ea.

 

Nice Do they also fit a Porsche 996 Turbo by any chance ?
