That's just another reason I don't get why people take roids. Unless you continually take them, you're not going to stay that size.

 

Gross. I totally don't even get the whole roid thing. I think the "look" men get from taking them is disgusting, not to mention the aggressiveness, acne, etc.

Regarding why people do it, I saw a documentary on MSNBC (I think) about female bodybuilders. There's a Harvard doctor who's published a report on their behaviour. Very interesting. It indicates that these women have some very serious issues with themselves and their appearance. He published their "syndrome" (IIRC) as being a body perception issue; that they "saw" themselves as being smaller than they really were (as opposed to the anorexics and bulimics that "see" themselves as too fat. Strangely, one of the women got into bodybuilding BECAUSE she was an anorexic and was using cardio exercises to burn calories. That segued into weight training, which she liked, and after seeing results, she went kind of over the top.

He called their behaviour "pathological", and given their strict diets, I guess they have to be. They are also doing things to their own bodies that they KNOW are unhealthy. Steroids, for them, were the next logical step. Get bigger. Also, in the professional ranks, there's big money at stake. So, there's a financial incentive to get to the top and stay there.

Whether this syndrome applies to men or just recreational (the vain) users, I have no idea.

I wonder what he was injecting himself with?.........................Perhaps Test and DECA in ridiculous amounts and NOT using nolvadex???

I do not think that taking a "entry level" oral drug like D Bol would cause this kind of acne.

I have known some people who used TEST and it made their face and back break out but nothing like that.

Maybe someone with more medical knowledge than I can take a educated guess at this.

Nolvadex is used to block Estrogen which causes the Gynocomastia (man boobs) and does nothing for acne. Dbol is one of the more harsh roids out there as it is an oral and has to go through your liver while Testosterone is mainly injectable (except Methyl Test). All of them cause acne to an extent and Drugs like Test Cyp and enanthate cause bloating along with D-bol. all of them are not good for you.......

Those huge bulges in his arms are not muscles from overuse of steroids, but synthol, an oil that can be injected to make the muscles look bigger than they are. Synthol is banned from professional bodybuilding, for obvious reasons...

 

I've seen some of the scars on people who use at the gym.

Now I know where they're from.

 

I dont belive roids did that to him. Yes it can make you break out but this guy had a serious medical condition before he ever touched juice. No way would it do that much damage to your body.

Once again seems like roids is to blame. Seems like it is always the end reason for alot of things. Even when they are not related.

I disagree with you to an extent. I would suspect the 'roids are the underlying cause. They started the acne, likely a semi-sever case, and he just could not stop picking at them. Same thing happens to teen agers from time to time.

+1. I personally think the look is retarded. I mean, who the wants to look like a freakin' rotten orange tomato? AND have balls the size of a peanut too.

A guy who i was in college with started using steriods a little while ago. All the women (bar a few) laugh at him now. Hah!

 

That's Synthol use. Possibly implants. I would be surprised if Gregory evens uses steroids.
