I need to trade down with my F430 Spider and would like to see if there are any Fchat members out there with Challenge Stradale's that are interested. My car has 3200 miles on it Red / Tan with red piping. 6 speed manual transmission. Perfect and I mean PERFECT condition. Car took second place in Boardwalk Ferraris latest exotic car show and comes with all books, records, keys, tools, covers, etc. etc.

Looking for a low mileage CS <6000 miles, red (might consider yellow) tan with the stripe. NO beaters, or previously damaged cars considered.

E mail me at [email protected] if you have something. I would trade my car for yours with 60K cash boot to me non negotiable (Values approx 180K to 240K)

    Thanks!

+1. Dreaming. Low mileage perfect CS much more $$ than that.

I really doubt there will be any takers.
That would be a dumb move, since CS is on the way up while Spider will continue to drop like a normal production, used car it really is.
Besides,in todays market,a clean CS with low miles (less the 10k)is very close in value to '06 Spider already and will be higher pretty soon.
There are a lot of guys who wanted Scuderia but did not get it either because of horrendous premium or lack of allocation and a lot of them turn to CS which comparing to 430S became teriffic value all of a sudden.

Mine has tan leather interior too, but I would not want to make that trade.

Guys, we are talking about a car that listed for 259K vs. 187k new. Most people don't give a **** about the extra performance of the
Stradale (my wife thinks I am nuts, she says I am trading a beautiful leather interior for a velour piece of crap) which by the way is not
as great as the 430. Besides, its not exactly like the Stradale wasn't produced in plentiful numbers. I don't see them becoming "collectors items" , but I do think they will hold their value in the near future better than the 430.

The guy I am trading with has a wife that won't ride in it because it's too noisy, and the ride sucks (his description) for going out.

Out put power? 490 vs. 425

My car will go faster around the track than the Stradale.

My car is more balanced than the Stradale

I won't even mention the interior beauty difference...

The only reason I am trading is to get the cash out and hopefully end up with a car
that won't depreciate as much. I hope I don't miss the top down feeling.

WAY to much anti 430 bias on this forum. You guys need to take a step back and think IMHO... I've even seen people describe the 430 spider as ugly!! (LMAO). Oh and by the way I like the California too (Shields Up!)

    Best to all

Everyone is saying it won't happen because they are two different types of cars, and they are correct in that... but did anyone ever think that someone could be UNHAPPY with the CS? Some good points were brought up, and if you are not tracking the CS, why not get the luxury of the 430, the lower maintance costs, and its a convertible!

I for one wouldn't give up my Spider for a CS.....

Both great cars, entirely different. Not sure I see the point if you are not going to track the car. Keep the Spider and just get a GT3 for around 100K for hard core time.

I sincerely doubt the CS will become a historic collectable. It will drop as the Scud drops.

    You're kidding right?

490 hp in 3130 lbs of car. CS is 425 hp in 2602 lbs of car. That's 6.39 lb/hp v. 6.12 lb/hp. If it does, it's not much faster. Aero is a key factor in track times too.

{making popcorn} Ok guys, this is getting good. Keep on arguing, I love seeing weekend trophy collectors vs. actual track drivers go at it.

To be accurate, the Stradale is 243 pounds lighter than the Modena.

They are both fantastic cars. I personally have a CS and would not trade it for a 430 spider but I would love to have both for many of the reasons already mentioned. There are many days I would love to take a cruise in a fun convertible and others where I prefer the raw feeling of the CS. Since I can't have both, I'll keep my CS.

Sounds like you should keep your 430...as its so much better

interesting ..where did this info come from?

Did I just mention maybe you should just keep your 430?

Well..there ya go. The reason we all want to own a Stradale

    Enjoy it in good health
