    Hi, does anyone know if the standard back pipes (with valves) will fit to a tubi silencer on a 360? this would hopefully mean reinstating the exhaust by-pass valves and may reduce the low range resonance which is unpleasant at low speeds.
    Any thoughts?

    Just an idea....the boys at Larini couldn't be too far from you and they have these certain "resonators" that they can put in-line that can reduce the drone, perhaps this is an easy/cheaper solution? The way bypass valves clank-on & clank-off is rather abrupt & annoying. Good luck! :)

    Haven't been on here for a couple of days but I have this setup so it can be done. It was that way when I got the car so I can't say if there were any changes. I will try to take a look this evening and post an update.

    Funny, I never hear the valves clank.

    Hi, Steve

    Would you please elaborate more ? I don't quite understand since I am new to Fcar and I found the Tubi exhaust on my 2002-360 has a funny resonance/prone when I approach to a stop or start slowly; It sounded like it was from the rubber ?? By the way , I know what tail-pipe is but what is silencer ? Is it the Middle-drum of the exhaust which has the 360 mark on ?
