...gorgeous. I love white cars. What is a fair price for this assuming a good PPI?

Does the service receipt show the Valve Guides were done? In June 2005 they had the 30k service plus other items and total bill came to $28,493!!! Ouch!!

I assume since the speedo and odo are in km's this is a Euro car?

The carfax is very odd... this is all it shows (nothing before 2002):

    Says its a Euro car.

Looks very Miami this car...it belongs in a sunshine state. Held up very well the interior and i love the 4 pages of service....wish they showed the oil changes and past invoices. I didnt see any books either...but great detail job on the car.

Not a Euro car, not sure why they say it is--the VIN indicates it is a US model....

Here is the question--What is the exact name for that color interior?? I have a good guess. Let's see who knows...It is not tan

Speedo/Odo is in km -- and Carfax shows nothing before 2002. Why do you say it's not Euro?

nice looking car. I like the interior color with the white. One niggle is that the white tends to make the panels look thicker than they normally do around the seams and intakes.

The 8th digit of all VIN's indicate what country the car is made for---
    A---US
    B---Euro
    C---UK
    D---Australia
    etc, etc....
If the car were a Euro car the 8th digit would be B followed by 0 and 0 for the 9th and 10th digits...

Gotcha. Someone ordered it with km speedo or someone replaced the speedo with a km one? Hmm.

thats what I'm thinking that the speedo was changed at some point for a KM one-----since that is the only indicater of it possibly being a Euro car...why is a better question---I can't believe it slipped thru over here from the factory w/o someone catching that---Maybe the speedo went bad and instead of buying the correct part--a shop had a Euro one laying around maybe...

Cam covers look like they were either

    (a) aggressively cleaned
    (b) poorly repainted

    or a+b

If this is a US car, why nothing on carfax before 2002?

    OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I looked everywhere for over a year for a white 355 GTB. I only found one, in Houston, but it wasn't for sale.
I do remember this car poping up awhie ago. It was at a dealership in Fla for only a week or so. They wanted something like 85K for it.
Scott, BUY THIS CAR PLEASE! We need it to come closer to me in Maryland. I promise, if you want to sell it in a few years, I will buy it!!!!

Might have a PPI done and see where that takes us...

Can anyone look at the service records and see if that indicates the Valve Guides were done in 2005? For $28k I'd hope so!...

I really have never cared for white on most exotics... doesn't look too bad in a 355, though. I'm hoping to find a 355 with the darker brown interior, called Cuoeo (I think it is in Italian). Assuming this is the original interior (haven't looked closely at the Ebay auction), I think that's what this is.

What's a car like this worth anyway? Assuming a clean PPI?

Nice. All I would need is a white suit and a teal shirt and I would be golden. I kind of like it, but I'm not giving up my blue one for it. Could it maybe have been in Canada. The KM speedo is a bit of concern, but it's in line with where it should be for total miles. All I can say for the service is OUCH. He was bent over big time. Also my cam covers flaked like that before I had them painted in April. Exactly how they should look. I would view that as a POSITIVE thing. I love that leather color. I want to know where his replacement catalyst sticker came from. Anybody else have a new one?

PS - Sorry if I sound a bit cynical so soon after just introducing myself this morning!! I'm not familiar with either dealer shown on the invoice, and am not sure of retail vs. wholesale parts prices for a 355. So I'm not sure how real-world the prices shown are. But I have seen invoices in which one dealer, little doubt, managed to convince another dealer to show retail pricing when wholesale pricing was paid. Again, not sure on this specific case, though. At my age, I'm skeptical of most everything until proven otherwise.
