The SE its an update from the 05 model but all 06 models will have the same improvements cept for the 2tone look. Even the new rims will be avaliable on the new G, which is ashame they should of made it more exclusive.

On L-P there is talk about a RWD version to come out in 07 model. :D

the lower gearing must be a huge bonus. is top gear lower too, or just the lower gears? the high gearing in the earlier car was quite a criticism of the car in some circles.

At the moment its all just rumours. Best to wait till the Geneva Motorshow where the new Murcielago is supposed to be released. They prob give out more info on the rumoured SV.

    Aircon: 1st Gear is 27% lower, 2nd is 13%, 3rd, 4th and 5th are 6% lower and 6th gear is 3.5% lower. Top speed goes from 192mph to 196mph.

I've just got back from a couple of hours in the Hills. The lower gearing does make a big difference to the acceleration. The car feels like it is doing it easier. When the exhaust valve opens and the noise starts, the power increases markedly - it spent a lot of time open today. The suspension is firmer by a noticeable degree and the car understeers less and quickly gets pretty neutral in a corner. The steering is a little heavier and more direct. The car is a more physical thing to drive than before.

    3. any family.......................it will go pear shape
    4. any friends..................... it will definitely go pear shape

    yes thank you Mark,
it was a honour and pleasure to be driven in that wonderful car, i sat down that afternoon and watched the previous weeks episode of Top Gear and they had the 612.
Well as we discussed, the 612 is a GT and the lambo just makes the right statement.
and its 200 k cheaper, ok the kids must ride shotgun on the roof. When the 612 GTC comes to town Prestige have told me i can drive it (they are desparate to sell one).
but my heart is still set on the lambo for shear power, oppulence, and uniqueness.
