Seems cheap: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320030214663 Wonder what the story is. Anyone have any ideas?
LMAO!!! Good thing I wasn't the only to notice, lol! Imagine driving around for that much in the plastic, hahah.
Item location says San Diego. Description says it's in the UAE, with registration in Italy. It's a small world indeed......... Seller "pavelburs" is brand new (July 2006) and it is his first item on ebay ever. Nothing sold on ebay before (with that name). Serial number is not indicated. Good luck guys! Marcel Massini
good guess. but Cage doesnt own it anymore. The car is however in San Diego now, has red with red interior and red dials and does in fact have a large driver seat, and when the new oner bought it, it was one of only a few Enzos in the US still under warranty, so most of the info listed is consistent with the ex-Cage Enzo, but there is nowhere near 14,000 miles on it, and, like i mentioned, it is in San Diego/Newport Beach (it goes back and forth), is registered in USA not UAE or italy. this whole sale is bull. "it has 14,000 miles but is in perfect condition, spent most of its life inside, and has the wrapping" who drives their Enzo 14,000 miles and never takes the wrapping off?
Actually, that title went to Richard Losee's Enzo that had approx 30k miles. Don't quote me on that, I heard it from a reliable source.
at last, a clever scammer. Why list them for 400,000 when 690,000 will get someone's interest. Buyer beware. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
Well, I contacted the guy "pavelbur" at [email protected] and he provided the following email reply to me: "first sorry for my English but I am not 100% americano. the vin is ZFFCW56A530135439. the price is 545 000 euros but plus 10000 euros shipping insurance, shipping is paid by me....but i can let it go for 550 000 euros total price. or we can negotiate" This then would be the ex-Nick Cage Enzo which one year ago, in October 2005, had already been offered on ebay. Marcel Massini
man, some people never learn. has anyone reported this to ebay? i think i might go ahead and do that now...
i just emailed the current owner of 135439, the ex-Cage car, and to quote him exactly; "the Enzo is not for sale, it will never be..."
while he's at it, I'll take the bentley gtc too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320030970385&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_ReBay_Pr2_PcY_BID_IT&refitem=320030214663&itemcount=2&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&usedrule1=CategoryProximity&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget
