Wow Wolfgang what an amazing collection of racing cars. Even though there are no Ferraris I get the impression the Jim Clark revival is bigger this year than previous years. Is that right?

Great cars. Chevron, McClaren, M1 ProCars, Lotus etc etc. Thanks for the pictures they are great.

    Thanks Simon,
I don`t know - maybe its bigger but without any Ferraris. To me, thats no problem you know.
But its still the very first day (Thursday) and more teams are arriving each minute!

    Hi Wolfgang,
thanks for all the pics :)

Sadly I can't come this year :( From saturday to sunday both the A8 and the A6 are fully closed and I don't want to drive the long way around.
I'll go to the Stuttgart City Mobil instead and watch some oldtimers etc. but you can't compare it to the JCR.
Hope the Ferraris will be back next year!

Incredible set of pictures and even without the Ferrari contingent it seems like a brilliant collection of racing cars. Always nice to see some supercars hanging around in the paddock too. I recognised quite a few of the GP cars from the Donington Grand Prix Collection here at Donington Park circuit in the UK. The 6 wheel race car being the most obvious. I also recognise that Ascari truck (or the design at least) from an Ascari that was racing at Donington last weekend. Small world indeed! Hope to see more pictures from later in the event, thanks again!

Much thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

The Tyrrell 6-wheeler, and John Player Special(s) are even better looking in live pics!

Thanks Wolfgang-great pics of one of my favorite F1 cars-the Walter Wolf F1 car of 1977 that Scheckter took three GP wins in its inaugural year-contrast that to Toyota's GP efforts....
