FYI, the Boranis also have knock-offs... C4s did not come with lug-nut type wheel fasteners...and, stick with blue..it is the best color on a C4 with silver second best IMHO...
Bryan I too have seen that photo before and I personally think the car looks terrific in that colour. It is exactly the same photo that is posted on a number of sites. By the way I wonder what is the serial number of the car? Cheers John
Michael's s/n is 14947 - formerly of the Hart collection in the Northwest and inspected by Shaughnessy. close to perfect. Michael removed the SF shields in the last 6 months for concours purposes. it lives 2 miles from me in DC and I have had the privilege of driving this car. what is your s/n, miamivicegts/4?
If you are still determined to change colors, suggest you head for the C/4 website (www.365gtc4.com), register your car, and view not only the period colors from the factory but also the members cars in the gallery.
Miamivicegts4 That picture is of 14947 and was taken by David Broome on the GW Parkway a year and a half ago, 14947 was mine then and its mine now. Care to explain yourself? M
Don't tell me you are trying to pass off Michael's car for yours? I hope not. I don't think you will find another C/4 looking like Michael's. Here it is at the 06 concours. regards ken Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's bad enough that you would post a picture of a car that you picked up on the internet and claim it as your own; but you seriously misjudged the depth of knowledge here on f-chat vintage - if a member of the crew here on vintage does not already own a particular vintage Ferrari, then there are folks here who have committed years to tracking them with very few exceptions.
i just bought vin#14791 in yellow and don't like the color..originaly the car was painted silver..which i think is o.k..but like the color above what is it? and if i decide to paint it will it devalue the car if its painted different from original color?
Add to that, the Ferrari World in general, is very small...ever more so with the arrival of the internet.
here is real pix of my car 14791 it real is my car ..she joins the dino and the boxer as stable mates Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
No dueling to the claim, it is and has been,= mine, it is not now or has it ever been owned by the Bozo who posted the picture. Michael Bayer 330GT, 365GTC4, 2400 Dino Spider
Is the color the same as my 400i convertible? See attached picture. It is celestial blue. 400gts Image Unavailable, Please Login
