Here is Israels only true sports car the Sabra, not bad for a first try. Maybe its time for a modern Sabra.

To post more Ferrari photos is a little problem, because there are not to much of them here... but posting other rare cars photos shouldn't be a problem.

    sorry for my lame english.

I like all cars :) not just Ferraris so it would be nice to see pics of Israeli enthusiasts enjoying our common hobby.

Your English is quite ok :) don't worry about it

I was wondering how you guys manage with the servicing situation in Israel, I mean alot of these rare and exotic cars need trained mechanics and equipment, so how do the owners manage all that?

One of the requirement for import cars and sell them in Israel, is the dealer agreement to give service for the car. So it not such a big problem... The problems start with all the Tuners cars (Kleemann, TTP, Gemballa...)

And for another rare rare car photos frome israel i open a new topic :

So which dealer services the Ferraris and Lamborghinis in Israel? I'm assuming you don't have a Ferrari and Lamborghini dealership in Israel.

Servicing a Ferrari like my 308 is not a real big issue.
Lots of parts are similar to other Italian cars and the mechanical idea is more or less the same.

I just changed the clutch in the 308, it was easier than changing the clucth in my vintage Alfa Romeo.

For newer Ferrari's the central garage of FIAT/ Alfa/ Lancia in Tel-Aviv is doing the service.

If Fiat/Alfa/Lancia is doing the service they must have the SD1/2/3 computer units needed to plug into the cars and do the necessary campaigns to upgrade them at every service, do they?

PS: Congrats on the 308, beautiful car :)

    Thanks.
I don't know about their computer units, never asked about it (my 308 doesn't have a any computer:)).
I don't believe they have bought expensive equipment for servicing few cars...

Most of the newer Ferraris need the equipment to diagnose problems.

Chris Dezer in Miami (Israeli bad ass) has 2 Sabras at his museum. A coupe and a conv. I cannot post picts here, but I can email them to someone to post. They are super cool and very beautiful to look at. You could mistake them for a Ferrari

Came to Isreal for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah on Monday & learned that there is a 100% tax on vehicles. Good enough reason for not seeing any Ferraris here during my visit.

I'll try to stop off at Dezer's museum to see those Sabras. Thanks for the tip.

    Cheers

    Mazal Tov,

I believe the tax on vehicles, is more than 100%.

I have seen a 996 TT in Israel - when it was a new car.

When I lived in Israel as a new immigrant I inquired about importing my Testarossa. At the time, they did not have a Ferrari dealership. The ministry of transportation would not allow the importation if the brand did not have a dealer. The car was less than 25 years old.

I am visiting and attending a family wedding. I have already been honked at three or four times by drivers with no sav-la-new-t. Y'all would make superb drag racers with your hole shot.

I ain't nothing but a certified Type-A driver :). Cmon. T vee lee hof seh kah.

Awesome Moroccan food and hospitality - as always. I helped make the couscous, for the heena. It is 100% authentic.

The BEST kebab I have ever had.

Each time we travel to Israel we eat at this establishment. It is located in Olga, Israel. Olga is on the coast, just north of Netanya. Make sure you ask for this dish. I have included the information in the second picture, if you want to call or ask for directions. You will be blown away by the kebab. Simon Dubi.
