    Hey Guys,

Sorry for the cross post, but I am hoping to get some help on something completely non-Ferrari related in NJ. I wrote it up in the 308 section:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=222819

I have been informed from reliable fchat sources that since this issue is in southern NJ, it is a lot closer to the MD/PA crowd. Can someone pick something up for me and save me a 12 hour drive??

    Thanks in advance

    Birdman

Not a problem.I've been to the airport and have seen the planes. It's about a half hour drive for me and no big deal. Check your pm and give me a call. Mondialmerle

Looks like the Pen Turbo company is in the area of Cape May, NJ.

Here is a link to the company's website:
    http://www.penturbo.com/html%5Ctcp.html

    Their street address is:
    Pen Turbo Aviation, Inc.
1340 East Road, Cape May County Airport
    Rio Grande, New Jersey 08242

Here is a pic of a Caribou plane. Look at the size of one of those propeller blades!

The guy from Pen Turbo tells me that one blade (all I'm buying!) is about 5 feet long and weighs about 50 pounds...solid aluminum. I'm not getting the whole prop!!

    :D

Mondialmerle....I'll give you a ring tonight! Thanks! Also check the thread in the 308 section because ClydeM says he can pick it up too, but he's not as close as you are. Maybe there is a way to coordinate so you and him and pass it off and not have to each drive too far?

OK I live just off exit 29 of the Garden State Parkway and the airport is at exit 7. I can pick it up Sunday or the Friday after Thanksgiving. From there we can figure something out. The real question here is how does one wrap this item for shipping? I could build a box out of 2x4s like they do for engines with a very large amount of bubble wrap. Ideas?

Would it fit in a Hard case normally designed for transporting Golf clubs? Just an idea. Jon in Delaware
