    BTW, how often do you find you need to change spark plugs in that double-plug-per-cylinder configuration?

    So far we've been able to get by with cleaning them every once and awhile. The key is to remember not to leave the ignition on without the car running so you don't burn the points which leads to fouling and making sure you blow the car out at high revs regularly.

    I would like to drive tis wonderful car. i hace seen a lot of pictures about this car in the pininfarina´s book.
    napolis, have you driven the paris 1966 dino show?. I think this prototype in red colour is the first dino built. I saw this car in Le mans museum in the 1996 summer.
    Napolis, I want to see more pics, please!

    If you search FCHAT Dino Competizione there are a lot of photo's.

    The Red one at the Le Mans Museum is very cool.

    The other thing we have to keep on top of is vibration. As the engine is solid mounted a lot of vibration transfers to the chassis. After every use we have to check and tighten.

    For some reason the seat is able to insulate the driver from the vibration but the nuts and bolts need keeping an eye on and re torquing.

    Were you able to reduce the vibrations of the rear view mirror? If so, how did you do it?

    Yes. Basically the vibration had loosened the internal day/night mechanism which once tightened is now fine.

    Those are scoops that Pininfarina made for us. They duct air into the cockpit on hot summer days. They're held in place by the plexi windows which slide open. They come right out and are stored in the trunk. In the Fall the forced flow through ventilation is enough and we run with out them.

    What are the stickers on the side of the front windshield? Do New York state vehicles need to have a yearly or bi-yearly inspection of some sort? Thanks
    The "Italian tune-up" doesn't sound like a hardship...
