I was told by tech that he has never seen this before on a ferrari.

was in vegas when clutch starting slipping so took it to Winn ,check out what they found.... lucky for me they didn't try to sell me a bell housing !
got this from Rich: (John the tech was determined that we were going to figure something out)

    Bill,
see bell housing brg spun in bell housing, heavily scorring bell housing...as this part retails approx $8000, we wish to attempt to have it machined..
pics 2-8 support this...pic#11-12 show finished product..note sleeve is now roll-pinned

THANK YOU RICHARD AND ALL THE BOYS !!!!! (LAST PICTURE DOES NOT BELONG SORRY)

So the bearing froze to the shaft, thus spinning the outer bearing race? And all this happened in So Cal?

BAD DAY! This is totally possible especially with low mile cars. Bearing will freez up or have high friction due to bearing galling. then heat increases and the aluminum expands. Then the bearing spins in the bellhouse. It is an easy fix. If can be as difficult as: 1) weld up aluminum bellhouse and re machine the bearing seat. 2) find another larger outter diameter bearing that will fit and machine out the aluminum more to fit. 3) sleeve the aluminum for a bearing interferrence fit.
