Hello George: To contribute to your thread here is one shot last summer during the photoshoot for the KHAMSIN QUARANTA official photo: it show the car leaving the French garden where we will have the actual concours (the first one ever there, a fantastic setting!) on the grounds of the Chateau Hotel which is the headquarter of the event. I pretended I was Federico Fellini You can see the car at the beginnng and then I rejoin it at the end by taking a short cut. The purpose of this video is not the car but to show the concours site, the car is a prop in this case but what a nice prop it is. The bizarre artsy statues will NOT be there in June of this year! I hope it's ok for me to promote this here but I'm starting to collect and create a number of Maserati Videos under the name "itdoes185". Right now it's bent towards modern Maseratis (because I just got mine), but I love the vintage ones. Let me know when you post your video and I'll include it in my favorites lists. Once here, I'm planning some sweet sequences across the Golden Gate bridge and Marin Headlands areas. Can't wait.

I have to go visit it in Laguna Beach California some time this year. When the video was shot I was in Geneva so coordinated it from there and the shoot took place with this girl driving in this park just south of Fort Lauderdale airport. She crunched the gears a few times argh! so we had to edit that out! One of us here will do a video at Khamsin Quaranta which should be very nice indeed and one way or another I will film Gandini this year in front of a Khamsin explaining its design, at K40 or at his house near Turin. best regards, Marc
