FXX Registry

If there was interest in starting a FXX registry the first owner is a Norwegian by the name of Frederik Østereng. What he said after driving the car:

“Really really good!” commented Oestereng, barely concealing his awe of the car, “Heading out of the hairpin on the back straight Capelli opened it up in third gear and the wheels spun for about 20 metres. That was the best part of it!”

Not sure what the number on the cars are yet.

I am currently developing an MC12 Register, together with another italian guy like me, but believe in me, it's a very hard job!
Plate numbers are useful, and even people's pics in different places: let's say that if everything i've done is correct, i already have identified 31 MC12s, plus 5 racing models (MCC), and including a blue one, a white one and a silver one.
If you want to start an FXX Registry, good luck then!

 

I don't think they would have VIN numbers since they are not street legal. At least the 360 and 430 challange cars don't have VINs. Maybe by assembly number

Do you know where to find the VIN on an MC12 in case I see one?

 

under the front bonnet, between the front springs attachments to the chassis. In the cockpit: behind and under the passenger seat there 's a metallic plate on the floor.

I've read that 5 FXX wil go to Germany in a magazine (I think it was "Auto Motor Sport").
I also saw one for sale on mobile.de. The seller was Bernd Dransmann who also owns an Enzo, F50, some Challenge cars and I don't know what else. Someone on the board said he deals with Ferraris.

Have info they should be delivered all together at one time.

 

FXXs have VIN numbers under the passenger seat.
Also Assembly # in a plate on the frame, similar to the Enzos.

Thanks for the info Cris. I could start up a register, shouldn't be too bad.

As far as the FXXs getting delivered, they are actually spaced out. The first one was delivered last month and I believe the last to be delivered sometime in the middle of next year.

Hey guys, I've been pretty busy these past couple of weeks, but I'll have a registry goin by the end of the year. I know of one VIN (manumas), but what is the other?

Oh, and I'll grab the VIN off of the FXX that'll be at NAIAS.
