Thought it would be fun to share people's love for Ferrari's, in the form of Art work. Whether it is rare art work (Giclee's, Limited Edition prints, Original Paintings, Posters etc.) or not so rare....... Not sure if this has been done before but if not, here it goes.... Sorry everyone.. didn't see this thread that started on the subject.. Didn't mean to make a duplicate... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=125765&highlight=ferrari+art+prints Doesn't appear to be many Ferrari Art collectors out there.
DM18 sometimes dabbles in automotive art, and I have a huge collection of Jay Kokas, with a few Chuck Queener and Ken Dallison pieces sprinkled in....... It all went into the closet when I lost the house.....just getting a few rehung into the apartment recently. I have a cool terra cotta work also, a turtle and a rabbit dancing back to back.........in raised relief. "Racer's Day Off.."
I have the book of Watts work.......impressive! Leroy Neiman also has a most excellent collection published under the title "Winners"........while it covers all sports, there's a motor racing section in the book with his Dallas GRand Prix and Monaco work, and a few other prints I have never seen in circulation....... This'll be the Fine Art Prints thread then, only remarks or signed pieces! LOL! All my Kokas are remarked and on 'Unfinished Business' he hand wrote a tribute to Enzo Ferrari, shortly after his death....
