Hi everyone, I have a 348 Spider tonneau cover from when I sold my car last year. I am wondering if it will fit a 355 before I advertise it?

Obviously there is more market for it if it does fit a 355 but without a car to try it on I do not know if they are interchangeable?

    TIA

    Justyn.

Shouldn't this have been included with the 348 you sold last year?

The car was sold to a dealer and I had two tonneau covers so I only left one in the car.

Anyway ... back to my original question?

Will it? I recently purchased a tan leather 355 cover for my 348 spider, I have black. I am now having the cover professionally altered to fit my car. The 355 has no opening for the seat belts where they exit, as on a 348, and appears longer, attaching points appear further down than the 348. I know a 355 cover can be altered to fit a 348 but don’t know if a 348 cover can be altered to fit a 355. I was not aware of the differences prior to my purchase. Interesting to find out. What color is your 348 spider tonneau cover?

    The cover is cream (crema)

I don't understand what you mean about seatbelt holes though, my seatbelts were attached to the seats themselves as you can see in some of the photos on this page: http://www.getafloat.com/348/

US spec 348 spiders have the mandated "mad mouse" shoulder belts, which are anchored between the seats. Your UK spec car has normal belts.

PM me with your price for the tonneau - I might be interested if it is a factory leather tonneau.

    Cheers

Hi mate, yes i have a house in the Village. The car was sold to Jas who i told about your old car. George from Benz is a friend of mine. If ya do a search on Jas you will see the car. It now runs with a Tubi. Here are a few pics of an airfield day with your ex car.http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79581&page=6

    Hi Justyn,

Yes, I now own your old car :) Thanks to Chaa for drawing my attention to the car, and also this thread.

The car was immaculate, so thanks for taking such good care of her. You'll be glad to know she's well taken care of now, but is also well used. See the airfield day pics.

She sounds amazing with the Tubi decat.

    Jas,

thanks for your comments and your call today. No regrets selling the car, I am glad you are enjoying it and getting some use out of it rather than letting sit in a garage which unfortunately I ended up doing due to lack of time.

If you fancy a crema tonneau cover to match the interior let me know ;-)

    Justyn.

Just wondering if Justyn has got rid of that tonneau yet? I sent him a PM but he's not been on since April and Jas' PM box is full.

I still need one for my car - looked at some blue leathers today that were awful but would like a proper leather crema one as well.

    Cheers

WONDERFUL LOOKING CAR. DO ANY OF YOU KNOW IF SOMEONE MAKES A DECENT COVER FOR A 355 SPIDER THAT GOES OVER JUST THE WINDSHIELD AND TO THE BACK THAT COVERS THE TONNEAU, LEAVING THE REST EXPOSED? IF YOU DO, PLEASE FORWARD ANY INFO.

Yeah, it's called the "convertible top" and comes standard with the car. ;)

justyn, how'd you like your cacoon bubble...I am thinking of getting one..what brand was yours, did you like it..was it a benefit or just a PIA hassle...I use a regular car cover but the bubble always interested me but never knew anyone that actually had used one
