    Hey guys

Big Italian performance fan, long time lurker, but finally (for reasons listed below) registered and started posting.

I'm a car nut. I spend all my spare cash on track days, or at least did while i was living in the UK where personal responsibility is understood and the nanny state of insurance, lawsuits, etc doesn't exist and you can actually drive a single seater the way it's meant to be driven on a track. Oh, sorry, I'm ranting. Back to the reason for my virgin post.

My best friend is getting married in early August just outside Providence, RI. We've known each other since kindergarten and I'm his best man.

As best man, I'm picking him up on his wedding morning. To mark the occasion perfectly I'd like to do it in a beautiful red piece of art. My plan is to have car that morning to drive him to church, let him drive it from the church to the reception (about 2 miles away) then return it / have someone return it same day. With the usual drinking that happens during a reception, I don't want the keys near anyone (myself included) that day.

So, does anyone know a decent, flexible (and preferably reasonably priced) exotic car rental near providence that rents ferarris? It's lame to say this, but the model is irrelevant- i just want it to be read and beautiful. International Horsepower in North Attleboro seems to have gone the way of the dodo and I don't know anyone else around there. Unusually, Google isn't helping here.

There'd be two drivers (we're both mature responsible adults) and I imagine we're talking less than 50 miles total on the car (depends where we pick it up) and only about 15 of that would be related to us using the car. Maybe a third driver if someone else returns it, but that's dependent upon the terms of the rental timings.

Honestly, I'd be happy to put $100k in cash in escrow as insurance- we're not planning to beat on it, just drive it a little bit and none of us know anyone who owns one (well, a friend in argentina has one there, but that doesn't help!)

    Any ideas?

I'm planning to move out of NYC to Connecticut this summer. That's when I can finally own one of these myself. Central London and NYC are not the place to have one of these beauties. So, you'll see another post from me in the fall looking to BUY!

    Thanks for your help.

I posted a link to this in the NE region board, you might want to post in the NYC region also. I know one of the guys that hangs out there runs an exotic rental business in NY.

And BTW you can drive cars on the track here like you can in England you just need to sign lots of paperwork.

You might also want to fill out your profile a bit more when asking for help as a newbie.

www.gothamdreamcars.com is the site you need. Noah's the name you need to ask for - he's the owner of the business. He is a good friend of mine, and runs one of the classiest high-end rental shops in the Tri-State region. As it relates to what you want to do, he's got a 360 that would be perfect for what you want to do.

    Best.
