Below are photos taken today, showing Peter Kalikow's black 410 Superamerica #1449 SA and Peter McCoy's silvergrey 400 Superamerica #4251 SA now here with me in Switzerland, being prepared for the photo shooting in the professional studio of Michel Zumbrunn and then for next week's Concours d'Elégance at Villa d'Este. The 400 SA was flown from Los Angeles to Zurich last weekend, and the 410 SA from New York to Zurich arrived today, with Air France. I'd like to thank Eddie Daepp's C.A.R. Logistics Ltd. (Classic Automobile Relocation) and Martin Button's Cosdel for their special efforts, after Air France had cancelled the New York flight twice (for "technical reasons") and therefore the 410 SA #1449 SA was stuck at JFK for several days. Following the show at Villa d'Este on 22/23 April 2006 the 410 SA will be airfreighted back to New York. The 400 Superamerica will remain in Switzerland and will be driven by Peter McCoy in September 2006 at the Louis Vuitton rally from Budapest to Prague. If you cannot come to Villa d'Este next weekend: The Michel Zumbrunn studio photos will appear in magazines such as the French "Automobiles Classiques" and the English "Octane". If you'd like any further information please feel free to ask me privately. And before anybody asks, the cost for airfreighting such a classic Ferrari from USA to Switzerland is around 30 grand, per car, both ways.

I'll get Peter's "other" car next week too.
And yes, will keep the Ferrari world informed, of course.

    I admire the K-1.

    I can see the similarities.

You need a reasonably large K-1 (of another sort) to be able to afford it. :)

    Wow!
I'd love to draw these cars some day!
That would be a real piece of art.

My favorite interior colors: red and green. Can you show us some interior pictures, Marcel?

    Thanks!

    I agree!
This is how the next update of the Scaglietti should look like.
The way they transformed the curve in the flank to an airoutlet is absolutely heritage.
The round boot and the classic looking f430 taillights fit the car much better.

    It's a shame I can't go to Villa d' Este....:(

The darkblue 612 Scaglietti of Peter Kalikow will NOT be shown on Friday and Saturday at Villa d'Este. It will only be shown on SUNDAY 23rd April 2006 at nearby Villa Erba. Sunday is the day for the public. I am the caretaker of the Kalikow Ferraris during the Villa d'Este weekend.

I think its great what Kalikow has done with the rear lights, the front turn signals and the other details. Did he change the door handles as well?

Very interesting this rebirth of Coach building. Note the hood scoop opening.
The level of fit and finish is incredible. I think that is a polished lip. Note new grill as well.
