    I just purchased a 1995 355 Berlinetta.
According to my manual there are supposed to be terminals in the engine bay to jump start the car. I cannot find them. The picture is rather vague.
Am I blind or can someone shed some light as to where they are ?
Have they been removed from my car ?

Dude remove the r/h cover in the engine bay, which are held on by 3 10mm bolts. The pic shows it removed. The 3 thick black wires lead to 3 nuts (just out of picture) any one of these are the positives. Looking at all 3 straight on, to the left of the nuts there is a single bolt sticking out which is the earth.

Same spot as the 348. You beat me to it.

There should be a metal ground there. On the 348 there is a huge bolt-like looking spot on the frame to ground the negative

I dWould not have guessed that you had to remove the cover. Sure does not make for an easy jump. Now that's Italian !

That's because jumping these cars is *very* hard on the alternator (typically overheats trying to recharge the dead battery).

That's right. Better to allow the battery to charge off the remote terminal for awhile before trying to crank it up... That way, the alternator won't be at max output and spike.
