    Hi guys. I am organizing an all-day drive from Calabasas to Santa Barbara, starting with lunch in Calabasas and ending at the Santa Barbara Harbor for a sunset sail on the Double-Dolphin Catamaran at my invitation. After that, I am opening my downtown Santa Barbara home for insane cocktails prepared by my personal chef (i.e. recently culinary school graduate girlfriend :) All cars can be parked safely alongside the (no thru traffic) street at my home.

    Space on the Catamaran is limited to 50 people, so the earliest this gets organized and everyone is RSVPed, the better. Attendance to my home cocktails is limitless of course.

    I'd like to aim for around last week of August or maybe sometime around Memorial Day. Also, suggestions open to a good restaurant in Calabasas to start the drive are welcome.

    Post your RSVP here and call us at anytime to discuss details or for any questions and suggestions. We'd like to make this the drive of the summer!

    ha, ha!!! :) :) :) Actually, I'll probably be driving the 1936 Auburn Boattail Speedster to give it a good run... depends totally on the "kindness of the elements" that day just because there is no soft top to cover it and as an open car (only) with white leather interior (aka... no mercy) detailing the sucker is a little slice of Dante's Inferno (to put it very mildly :)

    I've been working with a client in the Calabasas/Thousand Oaks area for the past month, and they've bent my hospitality at P6 in Westlake Village and Tryst in Newbury Park. Both places have good chefs and fair to middlin wine lists, although I tend to work from my cellar and pay corkage fees.

    I just got my '67 330 GTC back after five months on a transaxle restoration, among many other things, and am loking to stretch her legs, so good timing.
