    Hello North Central F-Chatters,

My name is Tony Krncevic. I've been lurking on here for a little while, decided to say hello after making a few odd posts here and there.

I live in Toledo, Ohio, and am an admitted life-long car addict. I regularly toss around the idea of buying a 3-liter V8 Ferrari (anything from GT4 to B or S or Mondial), but have not as of yet. Presently my garage holds a pair of Lotus Esprit S1s and a Porsche 944. A Jeep Liberty serves as the work and tow vehicle, while the 944 is the daily at leisure. :)

The next car will likely either be one of the aforementioned Ferraris or a Maserati Merak. I have a thing for mid-engine cars, particularly the low-slung works of art from the 70s and early 80s. I am not necessarily in the market for the next car at the moment, but if the right car comes along I may do something foolish! Likewise, none of my cars are necessarily for sale at the moment, but I've tossed around the idea of selling one of the Esprits.

My main reason for joining this forum is to meet other people in NW Ohio and SE Michigan who like sports/exotic cars (a variety of cars including Ferrari). I know there are more of you out there, but I am relatively new to the area and haven't met you yet! An obvious side effect, of course, would be that I will learn more about 308s and will be better prepared if I end up buying one, but most of all I am here to share enthusiasm with other car nuts!

    Best regards,

    Tony K.

Tony! Glad to see ya on here!

Ladies and Gents: Tony is a very good, longtime friend of mine. This man holds a wealth of knowledge on many different exotic cars, and especially the Lotus Esprit. He's considered "the man" in the Lotus world, to talk to about Esprits, particularly the S1. Out of all of my friends, Tony is by far and away the most passionate about automobiles, and when it comes to working on them, his perfection has been surpassed by none that I have ever witnessed. Definitely to the point of driving some of us crazy at times :D sorry T, had to throw that one in there!

Anyways, I know Tony will become an F-owner sometime in the not too distant future. He came close to purchasing my old GT4 but common sense got the better of him and he bought a house :p So next on his "to acquire" list is my present GTSi, and that's only if I move on to a BBi - and decide to still sell the ol' reliable 308!

Well, good to see another car nut on here.

    Cheers,
    Aaron

    Hey Aaron, . . . . . quite a cordial lot, aren't they! ;)

. . . maybe you scared them with all the hyperbole! :p

Oh well, so much for decorum . . .

    Hi Tony,

Also new (and in Toledo) myself, but welcome.

Comforting to know that I'm not the only Ferrari non-owner spending time here, and like yourself, holding out hope that it won't always be that way :)

Current sports cars include a 57 Healey (2-seater), 99 M Rdstr (supercharged) and 01 M Rdstr. Shown here in front of the house my wife & I bought last December (same month I took my name off Yark's 2006 M Rdstr list!). http://www.rfdm.com/albums/album46/IMG_6001.sized.jpg

Maybe we can compare notes sometime...
