Incident in Burbank Saturday night ?

Interesting that there is no post referring to an accident in Burbank last night. A story and picture in the Sunday LA Times showed a completly burned car and said the driver and passenger fled the scene. I can't tell for sure from the pic, but, it looks like a Murci.

"A yellow Lamborghini was incinerated Friday night when it skidded out of control on rain-slickened Hollywood Way, slammed into three parked vehicles and burst into flames.

A van was struck so hard by the sports car that it landed in a tree, Lt. Omar Rodriguez said. A pickup and sedan had moderate damage. The accident occurred about 9:45 p.m.

Rodriguez said the driver and passenger in the 2002 model Lamborghini, which has a base price of up to $280,000, fled. They were later identified as acquaintances of the owner, who had lent them the car.

Rodriguez said that the driver would be charged in the incident but that he had not been taken into custody because no one was injured."

 

I heard about this also today.

 

"In other news, the driver was found murdered at the steps of the car owners door when he explained to the owner what had happened."

This is the story of the guy that lends his car to a friend for a spin and everything goes horribly wrong. He speeds, loses control, crashes it(and wrecks and takes out a few cars in the process), the car burns up and to top it off they flee from the scene. Real nice.

 

best part of this news is I was not involved in this.

Bruce, if you know that Hollywood way is close to Burbank & Glendale,

Generally some one who had that car might have been a person wearng a Track suit, gold chain.

And I dont own any of the following item I listed!

 

Didnt crash last time but I did manage to do the following

1) Cought the brakes on fire.
2) Launch the car about 4ft off the ground when doing ***mph out of a dip.
3) overheated the transmission from shifting so much went into fail safe
4) used it as a tow truck to push rafi's M3 back to the main highway
5) Did a 720 * 2 full doughnuts and finished pointed it in the direction I was attemped to go but staled it.
6) ---mph on the straight away back to the 5fwy.
7) My poor passenger (ELIM)
8) Got into a roadrage spat with some P/o Sabb driver
9) (Stoney) in his F430 watchin this spat of road rage between me and and this sabb driver. The look on mikes face was priceless.

best if I ride shot gun next time,
