410 mile F40 for sale for £260,000 (although on dealer website it says 425 miles, but what's 15 miles between friends?). Is this the lowest mileage F40 in the world? I know if I'd won last night's Lottery EuroMillions I would now be the proud new owner, although alas, my numbers didn't come up yet again. However there's always next week...

Low mi. for sure. Though could be there're a few of these that were mothballed day one, as they were pitched as 'collectible' from the outset.

I know of a Chicagoland F40 with an honest 40k+ miles on it. He takes incredible care of it and still looks terrific. And the owner is SO generous that I would guess 2-3% of those miles were driven by his friends and others he has let drive the car. He would easily have more miles on it too, but he has a few other f-cars that also are driven regularly.

I have collected cars for years and my number 1 rule
    BUY HIGH MILEAGE CARS
    they will run better
need less servicing etc etc etc

all exotic cars NEED TO BE DRIVEN

putting the car on jack stands and not letting it run is KILLING the spirit of the intention of what the car was made for -- DRIVING

I met a guy in the garage in Monaco a few years back who owns two. One of them he drives and the other is at his underground garage in Menton, next to Monaco. He said he's not pulled the cover off of it since it was delivered to him in 1988. He likes the F40 so much that when the first one wears out, he will unwrap the other one. I've often contemplated building my exact same house in another faraway location which would be a similar principle.
