Hi to all the 348 owners out there!

For quite some time now, I've been thinking of doing something very cool,
something that havent been done before.....at least to my knowledge.
I want to print a 100% pure Ferrari 348 magazine, by us and for us.
I've found a print shop here in Norway who are willing to print our mags
to a decent price pr.mag.(most probably 48 pages on gloss paper)

The magazine will contain 348 stuff ONLY, such as:
The story of all the models in the 348 line-up,
Links to various 348 sites on the web,
    Service tips,
    YOU and your car
    and so on...

This is not gonna be a sales product, the magazine will be printed as Ltd Edt.
and will be sent to everyone who's willing to pay a little to join in the magazine....
I'm sure you understand that I'm unable to print a bunch of magazines
and send them off to everyone for free.

For those of you who might find this interesting are most welcome to come
up with ideas of what we can print in the mag....only together we're able
to make a very cool Ferrari 348 Magazine.

Whats the point with this magazine?
Nothing really, it's just a cool thing to do for the Brotherhood.
Besides, in 15 years time you can look back on something you once were
    a part of

    Sounds cool, but when?
Not yet, first we need to see how many of you who are interested to join.

    How much do we pay?
I think and hope that 100 Norwegian Crowns will cover the printing + P.P
    Thats £8 - $15 - €12 - AUD20
I'll have a closer look at the prices, but I think 100 NOK will cover the expences.

    When do we pay?
Not until the mag are ready for printing.

    How do we pay?
    PAYPAL or cash.

A friend of mine are gonna help me to do the lay-out for the mag.
More ideas will be added later, first I'll see if there are any interest of doing this!
So, please sign up to join us in the Brotherhood Mag.

Feel free to ask me questions or if YOU have any cool ideas, just drop me
a PM or e-mail me at [email protected]

    Thanx for your time

    Paul

Great idea! We can document some of the cool pictorial "how to" repair sessons...perhaps even some 348 performance mods, too.

Excellent idea Gimme Fuel. Consider though: No Doubt is on the right track, I believe. What an incredible wealth of info he has put together. I suggest taking his concept and turning it into your magazine format. Maybe in the form of a periodic newsletter. Quarterly? You can always print from the Web if you want a hard copy. Costs would be limited to that involved in maintaining the Web server. No printing, no distribution expense. So long as that server is paid for, the data will be accessible. Archives. My two cents.

You dont have to do anything yet, first we'll see how many who'll sign up. :)
After that, I'll be needing your head for ideas we can print in the mag! :)

I know what you mean, I could always make a web site, but I think it's more
"personal" to actually be holding a paper magazine with YOUR car in it, something you can take with you....a web site is much more UNpersonal if you know what I mean.

I do have a mag where it's an article of me and a friend from England, 4 pages and all, and I have no idea of how many times I've read that mag :D:D
it's SO much cooler to look at paper rather than a screen :D:D:D

Just do it, I'm sure everyone you can find with a 348 will pay a reasonable amount for it. You are only going to get a count of active people here by taking count, but really, I'm sure out of every 348 owner you could dig up anywhere and everrywhere, 90% will go for it if its a nice looking mag.

I'm in too.. Sounds like a fun thing to do. I have photo-documented the installation of hyperflows on my GTS if you want some pics of that I could send them over.

Have you planned what to have in it yet? I think that you need a pretty thought-through idea to put everything together...

    LOL
    Hell ya man :D:D:D

I'm trying to figure out how many of you will appear in the mag.

    I was thinking....
I'm gonna do a profile on everyone who's joining, and I was thinking og giving
you one full page with pics and a short story of who you are and all that...

So what do you think guys??
    Full page profile?
or half page profile? (still the same price:()

    48 pages.
ca 10 pages with story/tips/service pics/"how to do" stuff/links and so on...
    ca 34 pages with profiles
middle pages reserved for the BEST ever looking 348 pic (yet to be found:D)
We'll all vote for the middle page pic.
IF this is the way to do it, then we'll have to "close" the thread at ca 34 people - if we go for half page profile, then we can go for ca 60 people.

Please let me know what YOU think!

To start with, you dont have to do anything - first I need to get everyone
"onboard" before we can design the content of the mag.
Your seat is now taken :D
