This past weekend, Jim generously opened his doors to me and some of our close friends. His shop looks beautiful, and so does P4/5. It was my first time seeing the car, and I think the design is truly perfect.

The P4/5 is such a wonderful car. In person, it looks even better than in pictures. The proportions are perfect - Pininfarina shortened the Enzo nose, and it really changes the whole proportions of the car.

The only thing I would change is the exhaust. The look is amazing, but the sound is not as raw as it could be. I know Jim wanted to keep the car totally street legal without any kind of problems or pulling any strings whatsoever. But, what struck me particularly was when a friend of mine with a CS with Capristo exhaust and Tubi headers had his engine on at the same time as P4/5, and you couldn't hear the P4/5 at all. If P4/5 were mine, it would be great if the P4/5 had been made with a really raw crazy race exhaust. Of course, I totally understand what Jim was doing, plus now it's much easier to live with, comfort-wise, on a longer trip. And in any event, that's why it's his car and not mine!

All in all, I think they hit a home run with the car. It stops traffic dead, draws a crowd wherever it goes, and is just a truly wonderful design.

Funny story, Jim, we were at MMM and I was in Brooks Brothers for a sec while you were parked outside. You caused a huge buzz in the store, with all the salesmen discussing the car to each other. One mentioned to a woman making a purchase at the registers, "that car out there, it's been in all the magazines, he paid $10 million for it." And she said, "Man, that's silly. What does he do for a living? He probably lives in a cardboard box now that he bought that car."

    :D

To much to beauty, I keep having to go look again. I am so envious of Jim he has 2 of the 3 cars I would kill for, P4/5 and 002c. I just love to see pics of the P4/5 out and about, to me the car look alot better out in the real world than on anystage.

Thanks for sharing...looks like a fun day! With all the glitz and glamour mag pics of the P4/5, it's neat to see pics from its home environment.

In whatever spot that's open...! At a place like MMM, it's hard to find an open spot, especially anywhere remotely close to the shops.

    Great pictures, Zach...!
