I know folks have done this and I even found a few threads talking about it but I wanted to relate my experience in doing so recently. Mine is an 89 T Cab.

I ordered my wheels from Ferrari Parts Exchange and had Goodyear DS-G3 mounted in the 355 stock size. (225/265 40 18s) I was told they would use the stock Mondial T bolts but this is not the case. I had to order longer bolts, in my case, they were from Hill Engineering. The exact length required for me was between 51 and 53mm but I was concerned about the threads going too far and not locking down the rim so I ordered 50mm bolts.

From a driving perspective, the back end definitely stays tucked in when I drive in the wet...a problem with the stock wheels. The front end does not feel significantly different. I had read about heavier steering feel but it doesn't seem much different, perhaps the auto steering on the T is the difference here. The ride feels fine...probably about like riding around in the old "hard" setting on the shocks. A touch more crashing with the tires but that would be expected with the lower profile.

And yes, this thread is worthless without pictures but since I am travelling right now, that'll have to wait.

    That's all for now...

Trust me...I would love to be back in somewhat warm Seattle...it was about 8 degrees last night in Akron! Weekends are shot for me for a while...the same reason I have the T Cab (2 kids) are deep in the middle of both basketball and indoor soccer right now. In the meantime, I borrowed this picture from the FPE website, just imagine this car in nero/tan:

I did the same thing, didn't like the stock wheels so I got new ones, except I got 360 wheels.

Garage is a bit hectic currently, but I'm working on that.
