I'll be there with my camera Jim Thanks for coming out and bringing your Lola If you want, I can point to some items/people of interest in the metro area... although, somehow, I'd think you may already know many
Sweet looking car. I hope to make it there maybe on monday, Hope to see you there. Can I sit in your car
Jim, if I can make it, I am sure going to be there. How long are you going to be in Detroit? The whole show? If you are interested I am sure I can get a bunch of F-Chatters together and do lunch/dinner.
We're giving her a final cleaning for the show. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
some place in Greektown, or perhaps up on the nautical mile, or one of the hidden resturants on the Detroit river?
Greek town would be good, but all the good food is in older and not as nice places. Still it would be fun, quick, and easy. What about a good restaurant? Do you want to get dressed up? There is The Whitney which is very elegant and historic. Great food and the service is exceptional. But you have to get dressed up- something you may not want to do if you are standing at the show all day. No need to wear a suit but no jeans. A sport jacket is a plus. There is also Fishbones, which I have never been to but I hear its good- its set New Orleans style. Sinbads is a great seafood place! Its somewhat far away compared to the others I listed, but I know the food is great and its along the river. There are more but this is what I can remember of the top of my head at the end of a long workday. I'll PM you my number and we can figure it out.
I will be swinging by tomorrow afternoon. Looks to be a good show. This weather is awesome too. Its almost driving season!! See ya, James
Yeah Jim, great car. There were a lot of people looking at it when I swung by. BTW, the show was way more crowded than I remember from last year. It was tough to get any good shots of cars without eleventy billion people in the frame. Isaac probably got some good pics as usual though. Looking forward to seeing them. Cheers, James
