This thread is already started by Charles, but I hope by putting the about title in, we may get more interest. Here is the email:

    Greeting FCA members and Enthusiast:

Joe Gaddini of Evans Ga (near Augusta) has graciously invited us to a BBQ and viewing of his Ferrari ENZO and F40 on June 23rd. In addition, we will have a rally prior to the event, being led by Roland Linder in the famous Mothers F40.

    Below are the details:

    Friday Night

1-Those that can, I would encourage you to go to Augusta on Friday night to enjoy the town. As you know, Augusta is a beautiful city situated on the Savannah river, home of the Augusta National, and to many fine restaurants and shopping. There will be a dinner for those that will come on Friday, so please let us know immediately in order for us to have reservations at the restaurant.

    Contact Charles Clausen at 678-427-0435
For Accommodations I recommend the following, and please note I was quoted $99.00 per night per hotel.

Here is the address of our rally starting point.

    Augusta Country Club
    655 Milledge Road
    Augusta, GA 30904

I found out one other thing about Augusta. Augusta has the largest Raceway Memoral Park in the world, as the website states! Check out this link for details.

    http://www.historicmustang.com/cobras.html

It is amazing, and one of the famous N.A.R.T. drivers, South Carolina's own Buck Fulp debuted the 250LM #5149 there for all the world to see. Now that is history!

Please make this event if you can. The cars are the reason to meet and greet great people!

Please say hi to Roland for me! I miss the barbecues he used to host when he was here in Colorado. Always a gracious host and an all-around good guy.

I heard that Roland had some difficulties selling his famous F-40. He still has it, then? I rather hope so.

For a final treat, Roland and I Stopped by my good friend Bob Oswalt's shop in Batesburg-Leesville. I am telling you, the country drive from Aiken was... well how do you describe a 110 mile ride in an F40 with Roland, on lightly traveled country highway roads..

And then to have Bob open his fully air conditioned and beautifully prepared shop..well, let's just say we really enjoyed the other horses this day!
