    Great find!

I still don't get the appeal of this car though. It is fantastically fast but for the price they will charge, I could think of quite a few other cars that I would rather own... This car will be eye watering expensive and it's just another 911 at the end of the day. Give me a GT3 anyday.

I'm not the source of the leak so can't really say - maybe you may be able to find it in pdf on some other forums.

Probably as fast as an Enzo and you can go to the grocery store in it.
Doesnt have the " hey look at me " appeal of a Enzo but to some thats good.

Close enough for you and I not to be able to discern a difference for street driving (let's be honest, how many Enzo owners track their cars?). Plus, the visceral experience of an Enzo is what will make it seem faster if anything.

    fast as an enzo ?

GT2 0-60 is 3.6 secs, 0-100 is 7.4 secs....close enough for me. Top end is 204 mph, 2 stage launch control, this thing will be a rocket. Porsche usually understates numbers, so I can't wait to see what the real world numbers are.

    0-100 in 7.4?

I'm guessing a low 11 1/4 mile. What a feat for street tires on a psuedo luxary car. :)

Have you ever driven a GT2? They are pretty visceral...and FAST AS HELL, and a lot more than "Just another 911". Admittedly, I have never been in an Enzo, but I can't imagine it out right spanking a GT2...

Besides, just wait until the aftermarket gets ahold of them...

    +1

It is also important to remember that most Ferrari owners cruise their Ferraris and race their Porsches!!! :)

You are correct...they are generally conservative in their reporting of bhp and performance numbers. I can't wait for this car to hit the street...

    Wonderful car.

It will look especially nice parked next to the wife's Z06.

Ok, so I was feeling a bit crumodionly at the time I wrote that. :D I know it will be an extrodinary car but for my $ I would still take a GT3 for the normaly aspirated route, and less weight.

On the GT2 I don't get removing expensive stuff (AWD, Stability control, rear seats etc.), adding a little HP (that can be made up for with a flash), a little minor body work.........and charging an extra $80-100k for it.

Buy a TT, remove some stuff (front diff if you want 2wd), flash it and go to town.

Very good points. Especially when it comes to such a "plug and play" platform (911). I can understand this mentality when it comes to the Ferrari CS, or Light Pista but the changes made to the GT2 could be easily made without spending a ton of cash.

Sweet! I have always been a Porsche/911 fan. I cant wait for a review such as:

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera vs Ferrari F430 CS (I know it wont be called that) vs Porsche GT2 vs Corvette Z07/SS/Blue devil

I can see it now: Chris Harris at the 'ring for a group test. Though I think the BUG spoiled him for any other car that may come along...all others pale by comparison with the French Rocket.
