I guess this has been posted earlier but I try again..

I was out driving normally today ( no high rev ) suddenly the slow down light started lightning.
I stopped the car and waited 2 hours so the engine should cool down, when I started the Slown down started at once.
    the car runs normally

Is this just the sensor that is broken? and what can I try do to? I live in Norway and have to bring it to Sweden for a Ferrari garage.

Is it possible to make a "shortcut" on the wire harness or something?

    any thing?

Use the Search function on the website. There are only about a zillion posts on this topic.

You probably need a new ecu for the slowdown light.

Thank you for the help :)
As I`ve understand the ECU is mounted behind the rear shockabsorber, is this ECU connected with a wire or a tube to the thermocouples?
does anybody have a picture of te ECU so that I can see how it looks?

    Thanks

    Hello again

    It was really that easy!
I just did this easy operation on both ECU, but before I sealed them I took a hairdryer an blow the moisture out.
Mounted everything, started the car and NO SLOW DOWN LIGHT..

    Thank you everybody

I used a black silicone that handles temprature -> 800`C. This silicone doesn`t get hard an crack.
Washed the engine today and there is still no SDL flashing/lightning.
I also think that it`s really important to use a silicone that handles heat without getting hard
