Hi guys...what kind of lighting best shows off your ride in your garage? Fluroscent (white light) or incandescent bults
or spotlights of what combination? Assuming there isnt any natural light coming in (basement car park)

My personal taste is to have lights that have a color temperature range of 3000 to 3500 kelvin (photoflood for example). If I'm not mistaken, this color temp range is a little "whiter" than the tipical incandescent and halogen lights but not as "white" as the typical, cool-white fluorescent lighting. Something that's slightly "whiter" than the Halogen will show the colors of the cars the best, in my opinion.

flourescent, does not put out too much heat, and less costly to keep on. good for hotter climates

I've got fluorescent lights in my garage and love them because they "fill" the space with light.
I've tried incandescent lights and while dramatic (if that's what you want), they don't provide the fill I wanted.
You can get different "color" fluorescent bulbs which throw a bluer or whiter light depending on your preference.

thanks guys. Yes, I have heard that something inbetween halogen and flourescent looks best. I have seen
the white xenon like lamps that car detail shops use. While it does light up the entire area, it doesnt show
up the color of the car nicely. So a bit of halogen may be needed to add depth to the paintwork

Oh snap! I think we use a ton of your stuff on our development projects. Might need to have an F40 on the consumer end too...

The Ferrari sign was purchased off E-bay while I had the Lambo sign custom made.
