OK, I am installing the exhaust, tried to not remove the bumper, now the bumper is coming off. Question, what do I attach the exhaust mounts to? I have now instructions with the exhaust. My gut is to remove the exhaust brace and springs, the mount the springs to the braces old mounts, is that right?

That sensor goes in the Hyperflow, not the Capristo! Each Hyperflow has 3 openings for sensors, on early 2.7's like mine, one O2 sensor is plugged. On later 5.2's, 2 O2 sensors are used, so all three ports are used. That "left over one" should be the port farthest to the rear. Didn't the other side have one?

I was advised by Nick at Forza to get Level One for a spider. It is fairly quiet until I accelerate, the cutoff valve opens and it sounds AWESOME! Level 2 was advised for a coupe, and Level 3 racing only.

I have a level 3 on my Fiorano and it is like crack for your ears. It is not too obtrusive at low revs. As the revs build, so does the sound - and what a sound it is!!! Think of the gas pedal as the volume control to an amplifier that goes to 11. It is so cool you don't care about the volume. I do think that a lot the sound goes behind you as I do not think the volume in the cabin with the top down is too bad.

I have the level 2 and with the top down, the sounds is amazing. I truly can't imagine what a level 3 would sound like with the top down.

No, that one is not for the cats. I attached the thermocouplers to the hyperflow cats without any difficulty. I have a late model US version '99 which had an extra post-valve thermocoupler on the muffer. I've been told by Capristo that earlier models and European models don't have this. I have it sitting on top of the heat shield and I haven't had any problems with it. It always registers as "cold" I guess.

Be careful with the crappy half-moon clamps where the cat hits the 2 muffler inlets (not the center pipe). They are made of the cheapest pot metal that Ferrari could possibly obtain, and crack quite easily.

If they crack, do NOT buy news ones from the dealer, because they are also crap. Hill Engineering has a VASTLY improved stainless steel version:

First trip, the sound is amazing. It does "gurgle and pop" alot. Anything I can do about that?

Nope, just enjoy it.....the baffles in a "normal" exhaust get rid of those sounds, you practically have straight pipes with a Capristo 3!
